Kinryu Rising Sun Sukajan Jacket

Kinryu Rising Sun Sukajan Jacket

Power meets craftsmanship in the Kinryu Rising Sun Sukajan Jacket by SUKAJO—a striking black-and-gold souvenir bomber built around one of the most recognizable creatures in Japanese-inspired artwork: the dragon.

The back features an elaborate golden dragon twisting beneath a dramatic red-and-gold rising sun, surrounded by stylized clouds and rolling blue-and-gold ocean waves.

At the center of the composition sits a fiery orb, adding another focal point to the dragon's sweeping form.

Against the deep black satin background, the gold embroidery creates an unmistakably luxurious appearance.

The Kinryu Identity

Kinryū (金龍) translates to “Golden Dragon.”

It perfectly captures the identity of this design.

Rather than simply calling this another dragon bomber, the Kinryu name gives the jacket a distinctive identity within the SUKAJO collection while the full product name retains the commercially important Sukajan Jacket keyword.

Golden Dragon Back Embroidery

The centerpiece of Kinryu is its oversized embroidered dragon.

The dragon twists vertically across the back, with detailed stitching defining:

• Individual scales
• Claws
• Horns
• Flowing whiskers
• Expressive facial features
• Curving body
• Long sweeping tail

Gold dominates the embroidery while subtle contrasting tones add depth and definition.

The dragon is surrounded by stylized cloud formations before flowing visually into embroidered ocean waves at the bottom of the composition.

Rising Sun Artwork

Behind the dragon sits a bold red-and-gold rising sun motif.

Its radiating pattern creates a dramatic backdrop and immediately draws attention toward the upper half of the embroidery.

Combined with the dragon, clouds, flames, and waves, it creates a highly detailed back panel inspired by classic Japanese visual motifs.

Flaming Orb Detail

At the center of the dragon's coiled body sits a golden orb surrounded by red flames.

This small but important element brings warmth into the predominantly black-and-gold composition while connecting visually with the red center of the rising sun.

Embroidered Gold Sleeves

Unlike Sukajan designs where the sleeves remain completely plain, Kinryu extends its artwork along the metallic-gold satin sleeves.

Detailed dragon and cloud-inspired embroidery follows the sleeves, making the jacket visually interesting from multiple angles rather than concentrating every design element on the back.

The gold sleeves contrast strongly against the black satin torso while maintaining the same color language as the dragon embroidery.

Statement Front Design

The front continues the black-and-gold aesthetic without competing with the dramatic back.

One side features prominent SUKAJO branding with Japanese-inspired lettering, while the opposite chest carries an embroidered golden claw motif.

Additional embroidered artwork appears along the sleeves.

Gold-trimmed pockets, a coordinating zipper, and black-and-gold striped ribbing complete the look.

Black & Gold Satin Aesthetic

Few combinations make as immediate an impact as black and gold.

The black satin body creates a dark foundation for the artwork, while the metallic-gold sleeves coordinate directly with the embroidery.

Red accents from the rising sun and flaming orb provide contrast, while touches of blue in the waves prevent the back artwork from becoming visually flat.

The result is one of the more dramatic designs in the SUKAJO collection.

Sukajan-Inspired Streetwear

Sukajan jackets are known for combining bomber silhouettes with elaborate embroidered imagery.

Kinryu builds on that visual tradition through its dragon centerpiece, embroidered sleeves, clouds, waves, and high-contrast satin construction.

Wear it as statement Japanese streetwear or make it the centerpiece of a more understated outfit.

How to Style

Pair Kinryu with:

• Black jeans and boots
• Wide-leg black trousers
• Dark denim
• Black cargo pants
• Plain black or white T-shirts
• Minimal sneakers
• Layered Japanese-inspired streetwear

Because the jacket already contains detailed embroidery, keeping the rest of your outfit simple allows the artwork to command attention.
